While many visitors to the canyon think of Adams Pack Station as just a place to purchase food, drinks, hiking maps and Forest Service passes, it is also the last remaining pack station in Southern California, and the only year-round pack station still operating in the Western United States!
Eager to start your hike? Grab your morning coffee, breakfast sandwich, and lunch to go. Don't forget your hydrating drink and afternoon snack, we've got you covered! (Please always hike out your trash with you if trash cans are full)
Couldn't find an Adventure (Parking) Pass? We have the daily passes for you, along with trail maps, sun block, bug spray, head nets and more. Don't forget to get your memorable souvenirs to remember your awesome experience and for a great gift.
Sunny days guarantee that our deck will be full of guests enjoying the outdoor ambiance, great food, a cold beer or soft drink or a tasty treat. On not-so-sunny days, we also offer comfortable covered seating, with nearby heating, while you enjoy a hot beverage and meal in the beautiful outdoors.
Once we open our doors again, we will be providing an array of fresh sandwiches, tri-tip sandwhiches, juicy burgers, hot dogs, fries, desserts, ice cream, and your favorite drinks including ice cold beers. Stay tuned for a menu when we re-open.
Want to hire the pack train to haul your stuff? Most of the Big Santa Anita Canyon Cabins are privately owned and are not for rent to the general public. However, Sturtevant Camp is open for all to rent a cabin. It is a beautiful rustic cabin resort that has stood the test of time since 1893. Once Chantry Flat is open again, you will be able to rent a cabin at Sturtevant Camp and can schedule for our amazing donkeys to deliver all of your items to camp. Click the link to learn more about Sturtevant Camp and stay tuned for when we are all up and running again.
