The Adams Pack Station is a vendor for the USFS and has passes available most of the time. However, on occasion, we will run out of passes and you will not be able to purchase one when you come up to visit Chantry. We will always do our best to have passes available, but it is your responsibly to make sure you have a pass for your vehicle if we do not have any. We also have operating hours and do not sell passes when the store is closed. Please see hours of operation on our Home Page. Below are a couple of links to the USFS page of a list of other vendors that may be near you as well as more information about the passes that can be used at Chantry.

A number of the trails in this area were severely damaged due to the Bobcat Fire of 2020 and the winters that followed. Thankfully we have had trail crews come in to work on restoring these trails so they could be used by all. This is the reason why we are currently open.
Most of the trails in the Big Santa Anita Canyon are now open. Below you will find portions of maps that show which trails are open and a different map of which trails are still closed and being worked on.
